Change is in the air

I think....that today might be the first day of the rest of my life.

Last night, I think...I'm pretty sure...I'm almost positive....that I did my last major contract work for a while. Please, God. Now begins a new phase in which I must write, write, write so I don't have to get a day job again any time soon.

Anyone know where I can find one of those little counters that shows my progress on my manuscript? I want one.
