MaybeSoWriMo

That's a little better.

I scooted that 91 up to a little over 1,200. In human talk, that's about 4 pages. You wouldn't think it would be that hard, would you?

One word in front of the other. I'm almost to 25% of my (projected) goal for the month, and week one of four ends tomorrow. Well, technically today. And, of course, I technically know my story won't end at exactly 100K, but it's a good guestimate, and a kind of standard goal for a story of this kind. It's pacing right for it, too.

Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this month? Or ... NaNoFiMo? Or 70 Days of Sweat? How's it going for you?

I'm not officially but I do like to check in with those who are to keep me spurred on to meet my own goals. I'm trying to get to page 200 by Monday and then to finish the first draft of my wip by Christmas.

So keep at it. :)

I think I'll try to map out my work so I can actually be drafting a new story at this time next year. The motivation from all the other writers is fun, but of course, I feel just the littlest bit odd because I'm finishing a story instead of starting one. I'd love to see what I could do with a brand new story in a month!
Thanks for stopping by, Kathy.
